We hiked a mile into the woods (one of us in flouncy skirt;-) attempting to follow a leaf-strewn ‘path’ which appeared to be worn enough to imply an actual trail. (it wasn’t:-)
Dodging both spider webs and gnarled roots, we continued to a clearing where ‘fall’ magically took shape before our eyes.
Oh, Charlotte–you are so beautiful in the fall; and even more so at dusk with a gorgeously adventurous couple in front of my lens.
Megan and Bubba are always up for an adventure–especially if comes with a chance to wear cowboy boots. (they did meet at Coyote Joe’s (a country bar of you non-Charlotteans) and become engaged at an Eric Church concert after all.
..so it came as little surprise they were up for the adventure.
Megan and Bubba–thank you for traipsing through the woods with me (and holding your iphones for both camera focus and our as our ‘saving grace’ to find our way back out as night fell as little too fast.) I am so looking forward to your May wedding!
PS: And, since I know you all are going to ask–the AMAZING flouncy skirt was was Anthropolgie and it now on sale! (Bubba picked it out. #hesakeeper) You can snag it here
