I was so excited when I heard that Kristin and Aaron were going to be in Hawaii the same time as me, and wanted to do a photo shoot! Kristin and Aaron are not only partners in life but also in business – they are a incredibly talented photographers. Their work blows my mind. I was so honored to photograph them and get to know them better. They had me cracking up the entire time so I didn’t even feel like I was working. I can see why they make such a great team.
I asked them to share a little bit about themselves, their adventures in Hawaii and some advise for other couples – here’s what they had to say:

“We are high school sweethearts, started dating in 1999, married in 2005

We had the time of our lives on our honeymoon in Maui, 10 years ago. We couldn’t wait to get back to Hawaii, and knew we wanted to come back for our anniversary. It will always hold a special place in our heart since it was our honeymoon, but we wanted to explore a different island, so we chose Kauai. Kauai was breathtaking. The best part was just spending time together, it didn’t matter where we were. As parents it is easy to get stuck in raising a child together, instead of focusing on marriage. I highly recommend trips for just the two of you, no kids! We had the time of our lives adventuring together…. hiking the Napali coast, exploring beaches, jumping in waterfalls, dreaming together, experiencing new culture, sitting in local coffee shops, watching whales, and experiencing life …together…. there is nothing like it. Marriage is tons of hard work, but the most rewarding experience to share life with your best friend. Marriage is worth fighting for and celebrating, so we chose to celebrate it, in Kauai! It will be something we will still be talking about when we are 80!
