From the moment we gathered at The Charlotte City Club and Jess was handed a letter to read from Adam, throughout the entire ceremony–Im pleased to report ‘happy tears’ flowed freely through the day.
A few years ago, in search of a way to both ‘network’ with trusted peers and as an attempt to create a highly vetted list of the best Charlotte wedding professionals so couples could more easily identify true/trusted pros…I launched Charlotte Wedding Bosses. Its been a bit of a ‘slow burner’ in both getting the […]
Charleston Sunrise Intimate Wedding Alhambra Hall/Bowens Island (Margaret and Jonathan) With a view of the Cooper River bridge, Jonathan waited, facing the water–with pup Grainger by his side. He and Margaret had scheduled a moment alone (AKA: a first look) before being joined by their immediate family for their sunrise ceremony at […]
Charlotte Intimate Outdoor Wedding at McGill Rose Garden Britany and Logan were married in an intimate, outdoor ceremony at The McGill Rose Garden in the NODA area of Charlotte. There was much joy, lots of tears..and buckets and buckets of rain. But the rain mattered not. …guests cozied up under the tent for dinner and then […]
One my my favorite views of the city is from the rooftop of Foundation for the Carolinas. (if you are unfamiliar, FFTC has a gorgeous event space called 200 N. Tryon and boasts an urban sculpture garden and several places to step out and peep some of the finest views of the city. About 25% of my wedding of my wedding clients elected to have their wedding at this gorgeous and glamorous space last year.)
Charlotte Halloween Engagement Party: Caitlin & David They had me at … ‘skeleton bride and groom.’ 😉 Caitlin and David live in my (fabulous) neighborhood of Plaza Midwood. So a short walk down Belvedere allowed me to join in the fun provided by the “Winter Street Crew” to celebrate their recent engagement…in all-out […]
Today is the day this sunset-loving bride will marry her groom in an outdoor ceremony at a gorgeous French Manor (Champagne Manor) surrounds but friends, family..and grape vines. (Her favorite)
Kendra and Jason–I wish you a day of joy, timelines that flow like water and partly cloudy skies so we can have a gorgeous sunset:-)
Every bride should have a portrait alone in her wedding gown.
That is shouldn’t be ‘vanilla’
That the session should lean more towards fashion and art …than ‘old school’
… and that she should feel absa-freakin’-lutely AMAZING while doing down so.
So on Tuesday morning some of Charlotte finest wedding pros gathered to create some magic and setup was in full force to transform 220 North Tryon at Foundation for the Carolinas Solarium into Palm Springs! (we even had the 90+ degree temps and humidity 😉 (While Cali Stott Artistry readied our model/bride for Corrie and I to photograph before the guests arrived..)
From beer pong partners to husband and wife….Morgan and Matt are getting married today!
