I didn’t feel very pretty or special growing up (now that I’m older, I think that’s pretty common).
When I was a pre-teen, probably around 7th or 8th grade, my mom took me to get Glamour Shots.
Remember those? Yes those cheesy things done in the 80’s, 90’s. Haha.
BUT… for me, in the late 90’s, this was life changing.
Being pampered, hair and make up fully done, dressed, the whole nine yards.
But SEEING that photo of me. For the first time (that I can remember), I felt beautiful… like that’s me - I AM BEAUTIFUL.
I was so proud of that photo. I showed all of my friends in school. It changed the way I viewed myself forever.
That’s the power of a photograph.
A photograph that truly represents that power, beauty and awesomeness that is you… is priceless.
There’s something so much more powerful about holding it in your hands and SEEING it.
That’s what I want to give each and everyone of my clients.
A photograph that has them say:
“WOW, THAT’S ME AND I AM BEAUTIFUL!”
Feeling awkward is normal — expected, even.
Most clients feel awkward for the first 10–15 minutes. You’re doing something new and vulnerable, and your nervous system is catching up.
Some clients feel awkward the entire session — and that’s okay too.
Awkward doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It doesn’t mean you’re not confident.
Here’s what surprises people most:
The clients who feel the most awkward are often the most shocked at their reveal. They say, “I felt awkward… but I don’t look awkward at all.”
You don’t need confidence to begin.
Confidence often comes after you show up — awkward and all.
You don’t need to "be sexy."
You need to show up.
You’re fully guided through posing, facial expressions, and movement. Every angle, every adjustment, every lighting choice is intentional and designed to flatter you.
Most people feel awkward in photos because they’re not being coached. Here, you are.
You’ll see a side of yourself you haven’t seen — not because you changed, but because it was captured with intention and attention to every little detail.
There is no age limit on self-expression.
Many of our clients are in their 40s, 50s, and beyond. In fact, this season of life is often when boudoir is the most meaningful — because it’s no longer about proving anything. It’s about reclaiming yourself.
You are not too old.
You are experienced, layered, and worthy of being seen.
You don’t need to change your body to be worthy of this experience.
Most clients come in believing they’ll “do this someday” — after weight loss, after confidence, after life slows down. The truth is, those goalposts always move.
Boudoir isn’t a reward for becoming someone else.
It’s an invitation to see yourself as you are right now.
And for many women, that’s exactly where healing begins.
Not at all.
Boudoir is not about lingerie — it’s about intention. Clients wear everything from oversized sweaters and button-downs to bodysuits, sheets, denim, dresses, or nothing at all.
We also have a fully stocked client closet (sizes S–4X) and provide wardrobe guidance before your session so you never feel like you’re figuring this out alone.
You don’t need “the right outfit.”
We’ll help you find what feels like you.
That’s okay — this experience doesn’t have to be for anyone else.
Many clients book boudoir as a gift to themselves. Others come in during a season of change — divorce, loss, rediscovery, or simply choosing themselves for the first time in a long time.
This experience is allowed to be just for you - in fact oftentimes that makes it even more meaningful and transformative.
