At Bluesky Studios, boudoir is about so much more than photos. It’s about creating a space where women feel safe, supported, and truly seen. For Ms. B, her session started with nerves—and ended with confidence she didn’t know she had.

After undergoing gastric bypass surgery, Ms. B carried understandable fears into her session. Like so many women after major body changes, she worried about how loose skin would look on camera and whether she’d feel comfortable enough to relax. Boudoir felt exciting… but intimidating.

What finally gave her the push?
She won our giveaway—and decided it was time to stop letting fear decide for her.

“I was a little nervous,” she shared before her session. “But once I got there, everything changed.”

From the moment she stepped into the studio, those nerves started to fade. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and filled with encouragement. With Elly behind the camera and Jana there for support, Ms. B quickly realized this experience wasn’t about hiding flaws—it was about celebrating her.

“I felt completely at ease,” she said. “I actually felt beautiful.”

What surprised her most wasn’t just how fun the session was—it was how natural everything felt. The laughter. The music. The gentle guidance through poses. It was far more relaxed and joyful than she ever expected.

And then came the images.

“I felt hot,” Ms. B said. “I didn’t see my imperfections.”

When asked what advice she’d give other women who are on the fence, her answer was simple:
“Just do it. You’ll be surprised how fun it is—and how beautiful you’ll feel.”

Today, Ms. B walks away with more than stunning images. She carries a renewed sense of confidence and the reminder that her body—exactly as it is—deserves to be celebrated.

“I had an amazing time,” she shared. “And I’ll definitely be back for another session.”
