Sofia and Josh chose to have a night ceremony and reception in February this year. They wanted their wedding to be chic, modern and memorable, the Mint Museum Uptown provided the perfect vibe and environment. Crystal with Fabulously Created Events executed their vision perfectly.
“This wedding was our gift to each other. A testimony of what our love has built. Every picture tells a story of how far we’ve come and all the great things we still have to look forward to. #SteeleStrong2020”
Tell us about your engagement story?
“Our engagement was perfect and a complete surprise. I was on what I thought was a girls trip to Atlanta, GA. Had a fun filled day with my girlfriends when they said “hey let’s walk through the Olympic park”. Mind you, ATL is one of the 1st places my husband and I have traveled so seeing all the familiar landmarks made me miss him like crazy. So as we were walking through the park I began to see my husband’s family, his brother, nieces, nephews, His mom and his two best friends. I started to completely panic but before I could ask any questions, there he was, my husband standing in the middle of the fountain. He asked me there in the place where I fell in love with him and when I thought the moment couldn’t be more special, he made sure my parents were present. It was awesome.”
What was your favorite memory or memories from the day?
“The ceremony, listening to my husbands amazing vows, we could’ve ended the wedding right than and there and i would’ve felt COMPLETE” – Sofia
“The Reception :), watching all our family and friends letting loose and having a Good time. ” – Josh
What are your favorite photos, and why?
“Josh and I have been married For 4 years. When we 1st got engaged I did just like any bride to be would do, went planning crazy. But the timing was just not right. We decided to have a simple office wedding. During this time we learned to be a strong couple, a family and a team. We experienced what the classic marriage vows say Good time and Bad/ Sickness and health.
This wedding was our gift to each other. A testimony of what our love has built. Every picture tells a story of how far we’ve come and all the great things we still have to look forward to. #SteeleStrong2020”
What advice would you have for other engaged couples as they plan their weddings?
“Take your time and make decisions based on what you both want NOT decisions based on what other people want or ask for. Invite with your heart not because of certain obligations. Don’t forget to EAT on your big day! “
