Ashley and John both met as medical students. They quickly hit it off, got a golden-retriever named Nala, and got engaged 4 years later.

Ashley new John was the one for her a couple years in, when she had one of her worst years yet. She was stressed and overwhelmed with school and yet he was always there for her, a calm force. That and seeing how he was with their fur baby Nala sealed the deal.

John describes Ashley as “fun, bubbly, amazing. She is just a light, she has a sweet demeanor and makes everyone around her feel comfortable.

These two didn’t let a little (or a lot of rain) stop them from celebrating this beautiful time in their lives… and we think it really paid off. I mean have you seen the sunset and rain photos at the end?

Btw… they decided to pop champagne in the pouring rain in the spot where they got engaged last New Years Eve. If that’s not romantic, I don’t know what is.
