Once engaged, Stephanie and Travis didn’t have a direction for their wedding – that is, until Stephanie came across the perfect invitations. She admits that she isn’t a flowery girl, so the earthy sparkle of blue agate rock spoke to her instantly. In addition to being a beautiful theme, the pair were happy to incorporate rocks that would last forever as opposed to flowers that will eventually die. The gentle, calming shades that inspired their wedding spoke to Stephanie and Travis’ values of tranquility and grace.
After the boys started out their day with a round of golf, the festivities were ready to begin. The couple agrees that one of their favorite wedding day details was the spectacular view from the ceremony area. “The perfect weather, the perfect time of day, and the perfect man!” Stephanie said. Apart from the view, Stephanie shared that the gorgeous hanging agate cake was certainly her favorite detail – and who could blame her?
Still, it was the moment that Travis gave Stephanie’s daughter a necklace to commemorate the union of their new family that Stephanie remembers vividly. “She jumped into his arms and dug her head in his shoulder and gave him a huge embrace,” she recalled. Overall, it was most meaningful for Stephanie and Travis to know that all of their closest people had made time in their busy lives to celebrate their marriage. “Everyone old and new came together and it was an amazing feeling to be able to mesh our lives together,” Stephanie expressed.
