Saratoga Springs Sunrise Bridal Portrait: Megan

Saratoga Springs Sunrise Bridal Portrait:  Megan

I believe:
Every bride should have a portrait alone in her wedding gown.
That is shouldn’t be ‘vanilla’
That the session should lean more towards fashion and art …than ‘old school’
… and that she should feel absa-freakin’-lutely AMAZING while doing  so.

Meet Megan:  our ‘country girl’ with a glam streak a mile long.
When we selected a place for Meg’s session we opted to a.) choose the location of her venue as it so suited her.  (Wild/free fields of grass, horses, wooded areas and of course, the gorgeous, classic white southern plantation-style home that is Saratoga Springs.
b.) a very early morning sunrise session to capitalize on both beating the extreme heat and allow for incredible/golden AM light.
Let me just say–the LIGHT delivered.  (Mother nature can be quite the fickle bitc@ but she showed up in full glory!)  We also played around a bit with Atmosphere aerosol–a ‘fog in can’ product recently launched into the market that I was attempting to give the ‘kicked up dust thorough sunbeams’ look I covet.  …it also delivered.
And THAT dress!  A old-hollywood looking  Hayden Olivia number by the designer Marisa.  –Such a glamorous gown with its intricate beading and low (low) back with intricate and delicate beaded straps.
Thank you Meg (and Mama Dana) for trusting me that a sunrise session would be fabulous–no matter how early I had to get you up for hair and makeup;)
