Rachel is not a morning person ….but Jordan is.
Jordan has a good sense of direction….and Rachel couldn’t find her way around the city she grew up in.
Jordan tends to be  more “logical” and Rachel is more “emotional”
Rachel is more of a planner ….and Jordan flies by the seat of his pants.
However, ‘at the end of the day….they just complement each other quite well.’
Together:  they are fun loving, supportive and loyal.  (even when Rachel has a little ‘moment’ when the dress for their engagement session arrived back from the alterations shop unwearable;-) And,  though a series of “near-misses” (in the way of failed set-up attempts and sitting on opposite ends of a vey long table once friends finally got them in the same place)  made their path to meeting and falling in love a bit longer:   2 years after that first ‘real date’  (in Plaza Midwood I might add) Jordan proposed to Rachel in Paris, France….and they will be married this fall!
For their engagement session we chose their own apartment complex complete with a gorgeous rooftop pool.  (Since the rooftop is a place they go to relax and unwind together.)    We took a bit more of an editorial approach to their images as it just suited theses two Southend-dwelling urbanites so well.
….and they even ended the session with a literal ‘taking the plunge’ by diving together into the pool together! (fire and water all in one session?  Come on!!!) 
Rachel and Jordan–I had so much fun with the two of you and cannot wait for your Foundation for the Carolinas wedding this fall. (and so, so thrilled sweet Jeanna introduced us all.)
