Andrea and Buck Davidson Jr. Wedding at her childhood home Tirzah Farms – Rockhill, SC

I will have to agree – there were so many factors that made Andrea and Bucks so unique. I’m not sure how they were able to pull off so many little details and events into one day but they did – perfectly. Since she’s a better writer than I am… I’ll let her tell you about it. 🙂

“It was filled with things from his family, mine and ours. To start it was on my parents Plantation Farm. I got ready in the same place I had multiple first days of school, homecomings, proms, Christmases. I walked out of the front doors with my dad like we had done so many time, but this time as Father and Bride. The Guest Book was Bucks retired saddle he rode in the World Equestrian Games. The saddle sat near the alter cloths of my great uncle. Our dogs from before we met, now best friends, sat at the alter the whole wedding. We played “modified” softball (a whole story in itself) in the riding arena I spent hours in. There were pictures from generations past in the hall to the reception. The food was inspired by family recipes. My mom, dad and so many people made it a wedding that completely us. It can never be redone. It’s now a wedding venue because the had so much fun! Yes, you read correctly. A softball game. That was certainly a first for me! I wasn’t sure how that was going to go down with all the ladies in dresses and heels but they did it… and actually… Andrea’s team won. 🙂 In the guys defense I’m pretty sure the guys had to bat left handed. If you didn’t catch that in their story – both Andrea and Buck are accomplished event riders. Buck is one of the top event riders in the world representing the United States in many International competitions and Andrea is an international, three day advanced (CCI***), event rider, HA Pony Clubber, and an assistant trainer to Buck Davidson.
