I love love love photographing bridal sessions… but I really really don’t like waiting to share them.So happy Elizabeth and Matt’s big day has come and I can finally share her bridal portraits. Elizabeth was a bridesmaid at Katie and Sam’s wedding I photographed last year (you can their wedding and engagement session by clicking HERE) so it was great to get to know her then and even more as a bride. Her bridal portraits were also very special because she had lots of help – her mom, sister and Katie all came to lend a hand. It’s obvious how caring Elizabeth is by the company she keeps!
Although Elizabeth looks absolutely stunning and so glamorous in the photos – the job itself isn’t always. To get the lake shot I laid in mud and my butt was completely soaked by the time I stood up, a horse tried to eat Elizabeth’s dress while we were taking photos by the fence and at the end I laid on a recently fertilized and a very stinky golf course to get the last shots at sunset. I don’t really talk about those things very often but that is typically how my shoots go… besides the horse part. That was a new one to me… in fact I had just told her he wont hurt you… and to prove me wrong he went for her dress. It certainly makes my job interesting and I wouldn’t trade that for a desk job any day.
Enjoy!
