Last night we were finally able to celebrate with Emily and Jay. (they have been so gracious and understanding as their wedding fell during the time my dad was very ill and I was traveling between NC/OH as much as I could to spend time with him. It really is a testament to the ‘type’ of clients we are so fortunate to work with with. REAL people who truly understand what is important.)
Viewing parties are always such a great time. Finally getting to chat about the day from the couples’ perspective…what they remember…and then watching a slideshow of some of our favorite memories and reminding them of all of those moments as well as many they may have missed. (while sipping some bubbly and noshing on some tasty treats.)
Em and Jay’s wedding was low-key…but chic. Held at the urban-esque Bryon’s Southend. A little glitz and glam (Emily has such an ‘old Hollywood’ look about her…dontcha think? Doe eyes. a fitted gown showing off her curves and a gorgeous fur wrap.)
Our favorite moments:
-Their first-look. To say Jay was in awe of her is an understatement.
– The dance floor. Typically wedding receptions take a bit to ‘build’…this dance floor was on fire from minute one.
– The tiny photog. Oh man…he was so cute– following us around with his ipad. (you will see an image of him busting a move on the dance floor below.)
-The groomsman picking Jay up and spinning him on the dance floor
-Em and her bridesmaid Keely’s ‘dance-off’
– Seeing our former bride/groom, Nicole and Hashim (remember them?) who referred us to Em and Jay. (Its always so special to see previous clients and such an honor when they refer us to their friends. )
-Em and Jay’s super sexy night images on the lightrail platform. (Man–how we LOVE when our client give us the extra few minutes of their night to create something really special…they are some of our fave images to date. rrrowww..!)
Emily and Jason–thank you so much for including us in your day. (and please don’t forget us when you head to Italy for the vow renewal;-
