Carlin and Sean are our neighbors whom we had never met. Were married in one of our favorite Charlotte venues (The VanLandingham Estate–which, Brian and I happen to live directly across the street from and was one of the main reasons we purchased our home) They are the ‘landlords’ to very good friends of ours and we have multiple, mutual friends and acquaintances. (as they are ‘creatives’ at heart and have many friends in our circle.) …and somehow…our paths had never crossed.
Then one day they dropped by our studio, shared in a bottle of wine and laughed with us for hours. (and have since shared in several more:-) Then that lovely girl fate worked her mysterious ways and allowed for us to be the ones to document their emotion-filled wedding day.
They laughed, they cried (we laughed..we cried.) …and man…they danced!! (and beatboxed..)

Dear Cassandra and the Bluesky team- We can not thank you enough for shooting our wedding. Looking through the pictures over and over again I laugh and I cry. It is amazing how many shots and tender moments you captured that I missed. It is so nice to see my guests, my beautiful venue and the whole wedding captured from the eyes of the most magnificant photogropher there is. The day went by in a blink of a eye but the pictures will be a lifetime of memories. Even before I met you I stalked your website and pictures and knew you were the one I “needed” to shoot our wedding and I was absolutely correct!
