“How We Met: My friend Carmon (Sorority Sister/Bridesmaid) wanted to go see a band play downtown Greensboro because her manager played guitar in the band. It turned out her manager was Kenny. We met that night and then went on our first date a few weeks later.

Proposal: Kenny suprised me with a sunrise Hot Air Balloon ride over the wineries in Yadkin Valley.

What was most unique about our wedding: Kenny & I chose to purchase and handpick everything for our wedding down to the silverwear, monogrammed napkins, centerpieces, linens, & Glassware. We did not want everything to come as a package and/or a rental. We wanted everything to be our own and had so much fun shopping for the lantern centerpieces, vases, napkin rings, cake stand, candle holders, getting things monogrammed, desiging our photo guest book, etc. I really loved the “T” monogrammed napkins. I thought it gave the tables a really personal touch.”

She didn’t mention it, but I thought it was really cute that they exchanged bucket lists before the wedding. One of the things he had written down was “be a daddy.” Jennifer passed the list around which eventually got to his mother who then cried. It was a beautiful moment. Update: Just thought I’d share a photo of them in Paris on their honeymoon and their pad lock actually on the “Love lock Bridge” in Paris. Love this idea! Unfortunately they did not take me to Paris with them so of course these two images from their honeymoon are not mine. 😉
