I don’t normally write anything on my blogs as I am not a writer at all! But Sherone and Jerry are an inspiration to us all. Here is their story:

In 1981, Jerry and I met and dated for 5 years. We “broke up” and he left Knoxville (in 1986) to pursue his professional ambitions. We did not see or talk to each other until January 1, 2004 when he called me to say, “Happy New Year and hope your year goes well” and nothing more.
On January 1, 2005, he called back and again said, “Happy New Year and hope your year goes well” and nothing more. Later in April 2005, he called on a Sunday afternoon and asked if he could continue to call me sometimes. I said, “Yes”.
Jerry continued to call me every other Sunday and then every Sunday; we honestly talked about all matters concerning ourselves. In 2006, I finally “saw” Jerry again for a trip with him, myself, and my best friend. 🙂 From these humble talks, meetings, and God’ Love and Forgiving Spirit, we were married October 2012
