Though we had really wanted to announce our big winners on our 1-Year ‘Wedding’ Anniversary last night (Though BlueSky was launched nearly 3 years ago..our wedding focus and moving to ‘general public’ clients vs. straight referral was launched on Valentine’s Day 2011.. So, Happy Anniversary to us:-) However, we ran into a glitch based on the shear volume of votes/duplicates/etc. …
That said, after much sorting, email address verifying and one-by-one counting…we can officially say we have our 2012 ‘Are You a BlueSky Bride?’ winner with 51% of the votes.
We thank you all so much for taking the time to enter and supporting these 2 fabulous couples. And though there can only be one 2012 BlueSky Bride…based on the amazing response and support of these couples we are also offering our ‘runner-up’ couple a really nice gift as well…a $1000 gift certificate towards a BlueSky wedding collection should they decide we are the perfect photographers for them!

Congrats…but, I really think this was unfair…How did couple 1 become 170 votes ahead in one night after being down by 70 that same night? And every time someone voted for couple 2..someone would put in 2-3 votes seconds later Something fishy about this..But congrats…Just hope it was all fair..Bc couple 2 was very deserving also…since the votes were so close it would have been really cool to have split the package between the two couples..since they both had so many supporters…Thanks again
As the owner of BlueSky , I wanted to take a moment to address the multiple
comments we have received regarding our contest outcome.
First, the results were tallied by a third-party and negative/repeat/invalid email votes were removed from totals to get our winner Second, though it was no way a part of the contest we offered the runner up a 1000 gift certificate.
Though we understand dissappointment by those whose friend/family member did not win. But please remember we offered this contest to celebrate amazing couples and ‘give back’ after a really wonderful year of business.
If I may speak with candor, I am beyond disappointed some are implying invalid results and being negative vs. celebrating both couples and the over 5000 dollars in services they have been awarded through your efforts to vote for them.
