B. Family

As I began typing this post I spent a few moments trying to think of a ‘clever’ adjective to best descibe this session’s title.  There were so many…B. Loving?  B. Close?  B. Fun?  However, more than anything this session seems to best be represented by one word…’family.‘  (um, yes…I know its not an adjective. *wink*)
Spending the afternoon with the Hanson’s just personified ‘family’–in such a ‘Rockwell’ kind of way to me.  They provided my lens with so many classic family moments from caterpillar finding, leaf-tossing to tooth-less-ness.  As well as just plain old fabulous family love.  (big brother helping little brother, tons of giggles and hugs..just lovely.)
What better time of year to dedicate a session to being ‘family’ than this?
PS:  Trying something new for fun today…comment on the Hanson Family post if you think they as lovely as I do..  (and if 10 people or more comment…Bluesky will send  something fabulous their way!)  Let’s hear it for the Hanson’s!
Thank you again for sharing these moments with me Hanson’s!

You captured each one of their personalities in a perfect way. I love the natural environment. They look like they belong in a magazine. Debi is my daughter and I think she photographs beautifully. I am lucky to have such a wonderful family.

Tough decision. Black & white family pix, leaf fight, all of Alexis and her missing tooth.

Ten years from now, when Alex and I have kids, will you make our family portraits look this fun and fabulous? Love them!
