This summer was just a blast! Lots of travel for both additional training and out-of-state weddings with plenty of great child and family sessions. Though I feel like we did not have barely a minute of ‘down time’… I loved every minute of it!
One of my favorite, low-key, weddings this summer took place in a small town I had never even heard of at the wonderfully gorgeous Vesuvius Vineyard in Iron Station, NC. In addition to a terribly gorgeous couple and venue; I had the opportunity to photograph with Jeremy Igo (one of my photography teachers along the way who constantly delivers rockin’ photojournalistic/fashion-inspired work whom I have learned a ton from.) Good times!
Amanda and Jason (whom you may recognize from the blog header) were just a joy to photograph and up for about anything. (including the bride crawling across a creek in shin-high water while her groom held her up her wedding dress. You should see some of the outtakes of this. –Let me just say the groom enjoyed the ‘rear view’ 😉
What a truly lovely couple and venue. (I hope you will think the same of my images.) XO, Cassandra
Aren’t they just darling??
Congrats Amanda & Jason!!
